Hi, I'm Lenny Cottrell
I’ve spent most of my life training, coaching, and pushing myself physically — and helping others do the same.
I worked in law enforcement for 27 years, which drilled in discipline, consistency, and showing up even when motivation isn’t there. Along the way, I owned and ran a CrossFit gym for 15 years and have been personal training for the last 10, working with everyone from total beginners to high-level athletes.
I don’t just coach this stuff — I love to go out there and do it. I’ve run the Marine Corps Marathon, multiple half marathons like Bear Mountain and Breakneck, completed seven triathlons, competed in CrossFit Festival Games three times, taken on the Military Combine, Tough Mudder, and the Men’s Health Endurance Challenge, and logged more 5Ks and 10Ks than I can count. I’m still in the gym regularly, still training, still testing myself.
I don’t believe in shortcuts or gimmicks. Just smart programming, hard effort, and sticking with it long enough to see real results. My approach is simple: train with purpose, work hard, and have fun doing it. Fitness should challenge you, but it should also fit your life and keep you coming back.
